J Stevenson – Words Are Weapons (WAW) – Creative Content / Copy Writer
Where do I come in?
Most people do not know that their company needs something
new, vibrant, and fresh to expand and deepen their client base. A voice of the
people as well as a business one. You want your audience to be able to relate
to your product, to show you hear them, take their requirements on board. A
person connecting customer to company. An intermediary of note.
I have always been told that I can bring the mundane to life
like never before. Does your company need a makeover, an innovative approach
that my unique way with words can accomplish?
As a published author of three volumes of The Art of Tennis I
have been frequently asked if it is from a journalistic or a technical coaching
standpoint. My answer is always the same – it is neither, it is a creative
outlook, an artist’s perspective of the sport. This original way of looking at
the world is not limited to tennis. This is what I can bring to your company.
What do I want to write about?
I am interested in life. This means I am open minded and
would be enthusiastic approaching any topic. That is a professional way to see
myself as a creative content writer and of how to collaborate with people.
My areas of past work have included music, tennis, football,
business, travel, life abroad, the arts. I have written for blogs, magazines,
and websites.
I want to write about anything that poses a challenge. I am
willing to do research and educate myself on topics I am less familiar with. I
believe that words are weapons and are fundamental to the success of any modern
company.
What do I want to accomplish through
my communication?
I am a creative content / copy writer who has numerous ideas
and can write freely – in dynamic fashion – about either an area I have focused
on in the past or a new subject matter. I want to inform companies of my unique
way with words, tell them who and what I am, and probe their communications or
marketing department. Together we can discuss how I can aid them in improving
their brand, customer reach, and visibility with my refreshing perspective of
the world and engaging writing style.
What type of media am I writing for?
I am happy to write for magazines, online publications,
blogs, websites, company brochures or internal communications (company employee
profiles, newsletters, a book about the company).

you!
